Business Funding Agents Mastermind

From Orange Vendor to Capital Business Funding Agent; My Journey

I want to tell you how I became a Business Funding Agent for David Allen Capital, a company that provides fast and affordable capital to small businesses across the U.S. and Canada.

I have always been passionate about helping businesses grow and succeed. I believe that creating your own job is better than looking for one. That’s why I have been self-employed for most of my life, working as a consultant, a marketer, and an entrepreneur.

I have also experienced the challenges and risks of being self-employed. I know what it’s like to leave a stable job, to move to a different country, to face uncertainty and competition. I have seen many businesses struggle to access the funding they need to survive and thrive.

Here is how I started my entrepreneurial journey as an orange vendor at 17 years old.

One of my elderly neighbors had an orange orchard behind his house. He had more oranges than he could use, and many of them were rotting on the ground. He agreed to sell me his juicy oranges for a penny each.

My business plan was simple: peel the oranges and resell them for a quarter each. You wouldn’t believe how quickly those pennies turned into dollars. I set up my stand on busy streets, house parties,  and at night clubs.  I peeled oranges non-stop.

That experience taught me two valuable lessons. First, you have to act fast when you spot an opportunity. Second, and more importantly, it made me passionate about entrepreneurship.

My orange vending business lasted only a few months because I moved to the US soon after. It was the first glimpse of my future potential.

When I arrived in Boston, I worked at a brush factory for two weeks. It was a terrible job, and the pay was even worse. I quit as soon as I got my first paycheck.

That same week, I joined the US Army and signed up for three years. I enjoyed the experience. I learned how to follow orders, discipline myself, and be independent. I also learned how to type without looking at the keyboard. I spent my entire time in the army in the US.

Three years later, I was honorably discharged from the Army. I used the veteran’s education benefits to get a four-year degree in Business Management from Umass Boston. After graduating, I went back to Trinidad.

And guess what? I didn’t look for a job with my degree. I knew I wanted to work for myself. I bought a white Toyota wagon, traveled to Curacao where I got suitcases full of fashionable clothes and returned to Trinidad. I created my own mobile markets in remote areas of Trinidad. People were happy that someone was bringing them new clothes because they rarely went to the city. It would be too risky to do something like that today.

My mom believed that having a job was the only way to live a comfortable life. She always nagged me with, “Son, you need to get a job,”. I followed her advice. I applied for jobs that I saw in the newspapers while still selling in Trinidad country sides.

I learned that when you are passionate about something, and you take action, the universe usually steps in to help.  Here is what happened.

One day, two men came to my home. They wore white shirts, black suits, and shiny black shoes. They spoke with thick American accents. They looked like FBI agents, according to my mom. They wanted me to go to their office in Port of Spain the next day.

Two days later, I became a Business Management Consultant with the Alexander Proudfoot Company, based in Miami. This job was exactly what I needed at that time in my life. I was ecstatic, because I had the opportunity to learn from a team of professional business consultants. I worked with them for three years, and I considered it the gateway to my future.

In 2015, when I retired from my self-employed consulting projects, I started organizing and hosting mastermind group meetings. These face-to-face meetings were more challenging to arrange than they are now.

Thankfully, the pandemic made it easier to hold mastermind group meetings online.

In fact, it was at one of these meetings that I first heard about David Allen Capital.

A mastermind group member, who owned a roofing business, had recently used their services to expand his business. He got the funding he needed and asked for.

He explained that his business had been growing steadily, but he needed more capital to take it to the next level. He had been looking for various financing options after he was rejected by two banks. That’s when he found David Allen Capital , a commercial loan and merchant processing broker that offers fast and affordable funding for small businesses.

He said that applying for the funds was simple and clear, and the price was fair because he made more money than he spent. He had calculated the numbers and was sure that he could grow his business in three states with the funds.

I checked the website as he suggested and found out that David Allen Capital was a trustworthy company. It had a new and smart business model that offered financial services for businesses to get funding that they could not get otherwise. The company had a network of lenders in the US and Canada. Each lender had different requirements and conditions that businesses had to meet to qualify. These services were very important for many businesses, but there was something else that interested me more.

That’s why I was drawn to David Allen Capital, a company that offers simple and fast funding solutions for small businesses. They have a transparent and flexible process, where revenue is more important than a credit score, and an exclusive meet or beat guarantee.

As a Business Funding Agent for David Allen Capital, I can use my skills and experience to make a positive impact on the lives of other business owners. I can also enjoy the benefits of working from home, setting my own schedule, and earning residual income.

I am proud to be part of David Allen Capital, a company that serves business owners while honoring God.

DAC also allowed anyone to become an agent and help other businesses get financing. These agents would work as independent contractors from anywhere in the US and Canada. They could also recruit more agents to do the same. I thought this was a great opportunity for me. Becoming an independent contractor, an agent, is not for everyone. But with some training and confidence to talk to other people, it was an open possibility for anyone. It matched perfectly with my mastermind group’s mission.

They also have a generous compensation plan for their agents, who can earn commissions and bonuses by helping other businesses get funded.

My goal is to recruit 10 DAC agents in the next two or three months who would commit to join a mastermind group. The members of this group would share strategies, get training while helping each other build their own agencies.

If you know someone who is unemployed in the US and has basic communication skills have them contact me to get onboard.
